Mid-Week Break

Sometimes the most appealing idea for after dinner "entertainment" midweek is taking a warm bath and putting on my jammies early before heading off to bed with a cup of hot chocolate (or iced tea in the summer) and a good book.

This is what's on my nightstand tonight (click link at "this" to see the book at Amazon):

What's on yours?

I've read the first two Marie Bostwick book - I'm looking forward to reading the other two. I'm currently reading The Good Sister!

I just bought the second Marie Bostwick book of this series at the WI quilt show last Friday. Hopefully will read it this winter. Also I bought a Nook last night and purchased "The Help" as my first book to read on it.

The Land of Painted Caves ... STILL ... ugh ... i guess i just don't care enough about Ayla the Zelandoni to stay awake to read - i liked her much better when she was with the Clan

Reading a free selection from Jonas Saul! Thought it was a John Saul and did not look close enough! She is far from him, but it is a short book! Just got done with the Mocking Jay books and they were a quick read and a good flick!

I love Marie Bostwick's books, too, and I got to meet her last week at the Quilt Expo in Madison, where she was autographing her books. The next book in this series comes out in April. I can't wait!
