I M GRM-P 2-NITE

KIM IS UNABLE TO POST TO HER BLOG TONIGHT BECAUSE (pick any one or more of the following selections):

  1. She has an extreme case of PMS

  2. She has an extreme case of menopause

  3. PMS and menopause are conflicting and she wants to kill someone

  4. She's had a sudden onset of Tourette's (one of the symptoms is uncontrollable swearing)

  5. She's too busy laying booby traps for Hubby to fall prey to and has no time to write

  6. She can't get the glow-in-the-dark stars off

  7. She's curled up on the floor of the closet with a bag of chocolate

  8. The moon is full and she's out in the back yard howling at it

  9. She's too busy plucking chin hairs which seem to have grown 3 inches overnight

  10. She's still on the floor in the closet, the chocolate is gone, but she's started on a bottle of tequila

Thank you for your patience.

Ahhhhh, sounds good to me except she forgot the whipped cream on top :0) also, sounds like you and the pink panther have much in common, what with the laying in wait and setting of booby traps. Ah, the joys of PMS. One more day until the weekend.

Say with life so full of chocolate and all, do you want to pass on coming by BP&HH to sing the OM jingle? Pam did email me back and said she has to hunt for her OM Weiner whistle in the attic, so she will not be able to accompany you. Just thought that I would put that in your hopper, just in case you can't sing with out accompanyment and backup singers.

Well Granny Goofy is heading to bed. Good Night.

PS would you like me to dig out some hot cocoa mix to through into your iced latte somethingorothers??

Hugs

OOh, let's just hope Dh doesn't choose this minute to commit the unpardonable by looking at you, doing a little mental arithmetic and commenting, "oh, so is that the date??" It could be finally the thing that wipes Michael J from the news!
I would ne feeling alittle like that if I had been working on what scarily looks like a lot of bias edges on that great quilt in previous post. Bias edges = PMS everytime!
Cheers, Tracey

Kim - and so many share your affliction and understand your feelings! I have recently discovered this wonderful connection of blogs and want to thank you for the book list - I ordered the Marie Bostwich books shortly after reading your list, and loved them - the type that I hated to get to the end. So thank you for giving me something to take into the closet other than chocolate...

Well, I was right there with you last night. DH had a "Raymond" moment.....remember the show Everybody Loves Raymond, where Ray would fall over his tongue frequently? He does these things and doesn't even realize I can make him fit in the trunk of his car???? ROFL

Poor Kim! I've only had the PMS half this week and I've been in the WORST mood. I'm happy I have even more fun to look forward to when I'm older.

And I agree about the chocolate. My thing this week was a big hot chocolate with whipped cream on it while at knitting club. Yum!

About the chin hair thing....scary, isn't it? I FOUND one too! Now look, this is entirely too early for this. Sounds like you and I have a lot in common these days...especially the chocolate!

Oh my gosh, your list makes me think you've been peeking in my window again. I am well-described by every one except possibly #7 - I don't recall having issues with glow-in-the-dark stars, but forgetfulness can be a symptom of item #2...

And I thought I was the only one like that :o)

oh dear. perhaps you need a friendly Wisconsinte to invite you over for a nice relaxing evening with cool weather and (for the time being) low humididty and of course all the chocolate, sea salt and vinegar kettle chips and adult beverages you would want.
I'll even skip plucking my chin hairs so you feel better about yours.

For a bit of a smile, I offer my favorite PMS joke:

Why do they call it PMS?
Because Mad Cow Disease was taken!

Oh, and did you know there's a real medical reason we want chocolate when we're PMS'ing? We lose a lot of magnesium and zinc every month, and chocolate is a good source of both. I've felt so much better about my chocolate cravings since I found out it wasn't just a reaction to the grumpies!

Ah!!!! Such wonderful thing, the menopause - I don't think!!

If men had to go through it there would be a cure by now! In fact it's a wonder my husband still has his head attached to his shoulders or I'm not not so round as I am tall from eating all the chocolate!
