Here's What I Did . . .

I'm writing this post on Saturday night, after a super busy day.  My feet are about ready to fall off, and the rest of me is almost as tired as my feet--I'm looking forward to a more relaxing Sunday, although I confess I already started playing with scraps a couple hours ago when I decided enough was enough.

One of the highlights of my Saturday was when I set a chicken on fire.  Yes, it was a dead chicken, even before the flames; it was the kind that's meant to be eaten.  And yes, I did it on purpose.  I'll tell you about it and the rest of the day tomorrow, and I'll have a few photos, I think.  Now, though, it's time to show you this week's scrappy blocks.  And just in case you're new to my scrap basket, the blocks I'm working on are from Kim Diehl's Pie in the Sky quilt pattern.

Now I'm going to go wash the day off and fall into bed.  I'm glad you could stop by!

I'm still really liking these. If I didn't have about 25 things on my quilting "to do" list, I would go get the book and start on my own! This is why I love blogs, though.

My favorite is the pink with white dots and the floral center. Your block look great. Thanks for having us on Scrap Basket Sunday!
