- I'm a quilter living in Northern California. I sew and design quilts. During the day, I'm a legal secretary, but at night, I can usually be found in the Sweat Shop, engaged in the sport of X-treme quilting! I'm married and have two adult kids, Soccer Son and the Wild Child. I have a daughter-in-law, the Lovely Wife, and an almost son-in-law (whose blog name is yet to be determined). AND both of my children have blessed me with darling grandchildren recently, a boy and a girl. I try not to take myself too seriously and often write tongue-in-cheek--if you think I might be joking, I probably am!

I woke up, got out of bed, made my oatmeal, am drinking coffee...I feel lucky. But not enough to go play the slots, haha.
I met my husband on a Friday the 13th. We generally think it's lucky. ;)
Nothing has happened to me, but my uncle fell off a one story building while at work. He ended up in the hospital for several weeks. He performed less dangerous jobs on Friday the 13th after that incident.

I woke up this morning with a cold and just feeling blah. I just want to put my head down and nap. not feeling very lucky today. Great way to start the weekend. :(

My daughter was born 22 years ago on Friday the 13 th. also good Friday, depending on how you looked at it.
I think you all know what day I was thinking it was!
Funny thing is, we've always blamed her red hair on her attitude. Maybe it is a cursed day! Hehehe
It is always lucky for me as I was born on Friday the 13th many years ago. Has to be lucky because here I am but I don't know about everyone else

I think of Friday the 13th as a lucky day, because I was born on a Friday the 13th - in fact today is my birthday! :-)
