Starry, Starry Night

Did you participate in the Friday Night Sew-In this month? I finally remembered to take part--most months I remember after the night has passed! This time, although I got a late start, I spent several hours of quality quilty time and made the star blocks for this quilt I'm making from the Schnibbles pattern Lincoln.

My weekend plans involve getting the Halloween decorations out of their boxes and artfully distributed throughout our home. I've arranged for Soccer Son to come over on Wednesday to help get the new skeletons in place (neither Hubby nor I are up to climbing onto the roof any longer, and I want one of these guys up there). I stopped for groceries at Trader Joe's tonight and found they had pumpkins for sale. Oh, my! Now I feel I'm LATE with my decorating! The pressure's on; I'd better get a good night's sleep so I'll have the energy to get going in the morning.

I hope you have a good weekend planned! I'm glad you could stop by and visit.

Rats! I completely forgot about the sew-in! Love your starry, starry night! (Love that song too. And that painting. Can't hear those words without hearing the song. Isn't music powerful!) My weekend is half over but has been lots of fun so far.

Love the colors on the Lincoln .. too early for pumpkins ... they won't make it until 10/31 unless you have a cool fall.....

Love the colors on that quilt!
And totally love that you're putting out your halloween decorations already. I thought I was the only crazy one who did that!

I like your stars! This is a lovely pattern. Fall is my favorite season to decorate for. It's been cool here on the SoCalif coast so it seems right to start pulling out those boxes and buying pumpkins.

Our local Safeway just got a shipment of pumpkins too. The manager knows I like pumpkins and played on that emotion. I left with 3. That's all the room I had in my cart!
Love the new Schnibbles quilt. All those fabrics play so nice with each other.
I wish I could keep up with your Halloween quilts! I love them all!
