Thank Goodness THAT's Over!

As much as I really and truly love Christmas and all that goes with it--

GOSH, BUT IT'S
FINALLY OVER AND I'M
GLADDER THAN GLAD
CAN BE!

We spent a mostly relaxing Christmas day, punctuated by a flurry of cooking, followed by some mighty fine eating, and then an adult beverage or two (or three or four) while playing silly games. And I didn't win any of them. They were rigged, I'm telling ya!

So what am I doing this evening? Praying for the decorating elves to come while I sleep and change the decorations from Christmas to "winter verging on Valentine's Day."

In the meantime, those visions of basket blocks floating in my head last night? On their way to being basket blocks stuck up on my design wall. I may need to make a trip to Bearpaws & Hollyhocks tomorrow though--I have needs.

How about you? Was it good for you? I hope so! Now it's on to the next thing--and I have several things planned for the weekend. I think I'll round out Christmas day by taking a nice, warm bubble bath and heading to bed with a good book. Thanks for visiting.

I couldn't agree more that I am glad it is over. This morning it felt as though a burden had been lift off of me.

I like your new page decorations very festive.

What are you reading? Always like to know what other people are reading, get introduced to a new author, especially when I can't get into any of the hundreds of books I already have.
Glad you had a nice holiday. I'm ready for spring!

Had a great Christmas especially with our 11 month old granddaughter. All the preparations leading up to Christmas leave me exhausted. I'm leaving the Christmas decorations up a few more days so I can enjoy them without all the hustle and bustle. So you can send the elves over in a few days.

HAPPY BOXING DAY KIM!

You know part the the Boxing Day Tradition is to declutter the house and eat leftovers. We are heading into that today at our house. We had a wonderful day yesterday and I too am glad that it is over and head on to what is next here - we have our lists of things to do and it will be a day filled with being together.

Hugs

We had a good day. One that was not rushed, which I appreciated. Only thing is that my youngest came down sick last night, so that was a bummer. He's still got a fever and sore throat, but is moving around a bit. Enjoy your day!
