I promised you cherries, so I'm giving you cherries! This is my first attempt at converting this particular design from paper into fabric.
I see some things I'll change when I make a "final" version of the design, but I think it will end up looking pretty cute eventually.
In case you're curious, the fabric I used, except for the center background and the tree limb, is from the line Bees Knees from Maywood--I think it looks awfully cheerful and summery, don't you? Over the next few days, I'll "fix" the design and make a second one using the same line of fabric, and then I'll make another using cotton and wool. This particular one, though, may well end up hanging at my desk at work.
I'm glad you could stop in and see what I've been up to!

Aw! sooooooo cute! What a great design.
Hugs
The only thing I'd change is the inner border. I think it should be narrower and not that gold color - use a color already in the center (green, blue or red that appears more solid?) Otherwise, I love it!

I love it. I figured you would put in your blue kitchen. Is this a pattern that will be available in your Etsy store?

It looks great! I love cherries on anything!!!
I won't be anonymous. Gold??? I would go with a red...still striking and in keeping with cherries. Other than that comment, I'd buy that pattern....
