Vacation, Day 2

I love my time off work!

I slept in.

I read half a book.

I finished a cherry blossom block--one down, three to go.

I repainted a "thing" that hangs on the wall above my stove--I wanted a brighter red.

I kept myself hydrated. And awake.

I DIDN'T cook dinner!

I put the binding on a quilt. (This is one I made last year when I took a class with Jo Morton, and my dear friend Eileen hand quilted it for me--it's about time I got it bound!)

And I may have eaten a cupcake. Or maybe more than one. Hey, it's VACATION, right?!

What a fun day! Sounds like you're having a great vacation right within your own home! Can't wait to see what you get up to tomorrow!

Very cute, Kim, Gee it's about time you put the binding on that quilt. Guess I should have done it before I sent it home.

I like you opposite block with the cherry blossom. They are in bloom right now. There is a old tree right on the edge of our property that Rusty, the neighbor left as it had some good cherries on it the first year. But last year the deer got to them first. Now with the look of the blossoms he should have a good crop.

Keep up the good work.

Love the little quilt....Eileen did a fabulous job on the quilting....aren't you blessed to have such a "wonderful friend"!
I like your alternate block as much as the cherry block. :)

Sounds like you are having the perfect vacation. I might even be just a little bit jealous. :)

I'm reading this from my cubicle at work and I can't help feeling an overwhelming sense of JEALOUSY!! That sounds like the perfect day (especially the part about not cooking dinner!). Lucky you :)
