Well, dang! I stay away because you're on vacation and all hell breaks loose.
I'm so sorry about your husband's job loss. It's a scary time in our country. I want you to know that I, too, have tried to help the economy wherever I could. I'm sorry I wasn't more help.
I absolutely love the carrots Kim! They are so darn cute! I hope the days off this week will be enjoyable. I kinda think it's perfect timing so that you can spend the time with your honey and absorb the shift in your lives:) My husband is in that same boat and to much time on his hands. I would get SO much done if it were me!
OMG I am going to have to go back and read your blogs from last year! They look all scrubbed off and ready to eat. What a wonderful thing to make. You are GOOD!
I opened up your post and thought it was going to be another one of your terrific recipes, Kim! They look good enough to eat! So sorry to hear about your hubby's layoff. I know you two will survive - a sense of humour is the best medicine and you certainly haven't lost your! Cheers!
