I was driving home from work tonight behind what appeared to be an overweight woman eating sunflower seeds non-stop and throwing the shells out of the window of her small pick-up truck. I'll admit I was thinking rather unkind thoughts about her--her weight, her eating, her littering. At the next red light, I happened to catch a glimpse of myself in the rear view mirror and had to do a bit of a double take. Yep, I really DID see what I thought--I was wearing little red stains on either side of my mouth from the glass of cranberry Crystal Light I had been drinking this afternoon.
ARGH!
so....you looked like the Joker from Batman?
ReplyDeleteI love sunflower seeds, but usually just eat them when I'm out fishing. I have gotten stuck behind people driving and spitting the shells out the window before too, yuck! I hate the slogan on the David sunflower bag, "eat, spit, enjoy." Yuck! I guess she was enjoying huh! LOL
ReplyDeleteso funny....I know exactly how you feel.

Exactly my thought---the Joker from Batman. I get that mouth when I overdo my lipstick sometimes. It is always nice when someone TELLS me about it though!
ReplyDeleteAt least the sunflower seed were organic and not cigarette butts.

ReplyDeleteI hate when people throw stuff out of the car, they seem to think since its a food item that its ok to litter. SIGH!

i knew there was a reason why i like sipping from a straw - the little smiley lines from glugging strawberry pop...
ReplyDeleteLOL, coulda been worse. Coulda been your skirt stuck up into your underwear in the back for God knows how long...
ReplyDeleteI was drinking coffee on my way to work one day last week, and apparently I didn't have the lid on my travel mug tight enough. I felt a little drip and when I looked down I had a huge wet spot right in the middle of my chest. I had to go to Walmart and buy a new blouse before I could go to work.
