Early to Bed

First day of June, and here in Sacramento we have cool temps, rain, thunder and lightening, and tornado warnings. There's not much on television. It sure seems like an excellent time to go to bed early with a good book.

  7. I am reading Game of Thrones, the books that the HBO series is based on.
They are following the book very well, but there isn't nearly the graphic sex in the novel as there is on the series. Thank God for that!

I love that book and read it every summer! Once it is done I will have to get to my Allison Brennan trilogies!! Last summer was 'The Prey', 'The Hunt', and 'The Kill'! 10. I just finished the last of the series by Faye Kellerman...number 17 I think it was. LOVED THEM ALL..
Baptist Detective meets his future second wife in the first book and converts to Judaism... Each book has a couple of murders and stories follow along, but you can read any of them as independent books..
