Merry, Merry Me!
Done! Well, sort of; except for all that quilting. But the top's finished--woo-hooo! Aren't borders kind of boring to add to an otherwise finished quilt top? I had a hard time getting myself to do it but I finally gave myself a talking to, sat down at the machine, and just got it over with.
I know the quilt looks a little wavy but it's just pinned up on a wall using three tacks--the final quilted quilt will be much nicer. I was really surprised how big this turned out. I rarely pay much attention to a quilt pattern's measurements unless I intend to use a quilt on my king-sized bed, so I had no idea until I tacked it up on the wall that it was as large as it is--most of the Bunny Hill patterns I've made have been nice, medium sized wall hangings.
Are you interested in "winning" my used pattern? Now that I'm done, it's time for a giveaway. Leave me a comment telling me what fabrics/colors you think you'd like to use in making your own version and I'll add you to the drawing. I'll pick a winner Friday night, which means that person will be announced on Saturday's post, so make sure you come back to see if it might be you! You'll need to claim it if you win--I won't come looking for you.
By the way, if you need a little color inspiration for dreaming up your own version, check out Anne Sutton's Bunny Tales blog post HERE. The green one is surprisingly attractive, I think! Well, I like them both a lot; of course; that's not what I mean. I'm just saying I'm surprised I find the green one as stunning as I do. I'll have to keep that in mind for a future project. And speaking of future projects, I guess I'll have to figure out tomorrow night what's next!

Fabulous quilt!
I'd love to make one in reds too with some greens as well!
Would love to stitch one of these in blues - sky blue with white snowflakes everywhere.
Your Merry, Merry Me quilt is stunning. Snowmen rank top of my list along with reindeer as favorite Christmas themes.
I would like to make this quilt in rich blues, chocolate and cream.
Adorable quilt I love it! I think red and torquiose would be neat.
Hope I win
Thanks for the give away

Kim,
I like the red you did yours in. Seems more like Christmas. Although, the red, aqua, and gray on Anne's blog was very nice. Not to fond of the green one thought. Maybe if the green was a little more toward Christmas green.
Thanks for the chance to win.
I like the red and aqua quilt. I also fancy the green one. Snowman have always been a favorite of mine. Thanks for sharing your pattern!
I looks great... love the wee Santa peeking out in the top right corner! Please don't count me in for your pattern giveaway, I would not have the patience to complete such an intricate quilt. You did a marvelous job!!!
Your quilt looks great. I really like Bunny Hill patterns and would like to do this one in reds as well. Thanks for the chance to win.
Love your quilt! If I do one in my own color choices it would use red with blue and gray. I have really wanted to do the block with the red pick up truck!
So glad you stuck to it as I love the colours. I think I would do it in reds as well, perhaps not exclusively French General. You did a terrific job and I love the embellishments by hand.
I think I would go with primary colors...red, green, blue, yellow. Love your quilt...awesome job. Thanks for the chance.
I think red, grey and white would be my choices to use with this pattern. I wish I had enough French general fabrics to use. I think it would be stunning in their fabric lines.
I love snowmen. Would love to reuse your pattern. I would not limit myself to one or two colors, I would use different colors for the different blocks
I have always wanted this pattern. I would do it in blues and white. I am not a huge red fan. Thanks for the chance to win!
Launa here.....soft teal with red and gray. I've loved this pattern so thanks Kim for a chance to win.

Congratulations on an absolutely FABULOUS finish! I love this wonderful, detail rich quilt top!
Congrats on your finish! I'm not sure which colors I would choose, but it would definitely be Thimbleberries!
I love Snowmen and would love to make this quilt in French General fabric
Thanks for a chance to win your pattern
Beautiful quilt! I'd love to make one in a combo of red, blue, green and cream colors. Thanks for doing this giveaway-would loooooooooove to win! Have a great day!
I like the reds and neutrals that you used so I would probably go with a similar color palette. That way it's not to Christmasy and can stay up after the holidays.
Mine would have to be red with touches of dark green here and there. Giving away the pattern is better than it sitting it's life away in a drawer. Thanks for the chance to win this beauty.
I've been watching you make this quilt with envy, looks like so much fun. I would do it in neutrals reds and blues. Love it and thanks for sharing the pattern.
Hi Kim, the green and grey bunny hill quilt is mine. I took Anne's class at Thimble Creek. Anne is the best teacher and nicest person. (I don't need to be entered into the raffle, I've got the pattern.)
I think I'd need to use blues and creams. I've got plenty of those in my collection.
I think I would like to make it in traditional red and greens or perhaps red and aqua. Yours is very pretty.
Hi Kim-
Congrats on the finished quilt top! Must be a nice feeling of accomplishment. I must say I was pretty taken with the green version on Anne's blog and would probably do something like that. What a great idea to pass on your pattern when you are done - a bit of recycling at its best. Thanks for the chance to be chosen.
I would love to make this quilt!
Congratulations on finishing your top -- it turned out great! I'd love to make this using reds, aquas, greys and whites. I just love those snowmen. :D
Love yout quilt top! I would make one in red and aqua/blue a more modern version. Or perhaps a blue and tan version like the snowmen postcard? Mmmmh, let's see.

I have a group of Christmas fabrics that are pastel pink and green and blues that I think would be awesome with this pattern. Thanks for the opportunity.
I wish I had the patience to make a quilt like this. Don't add me to your giveaway. Just wanted to pop in and say that I really like yours.
Would love to make this quilt for family and since I read each of your posts through Feedly, I'll be here to see if I am the lucky winner of the pattern.
I would use the reds and beiges in several French General lines, traditional, that's me. I have wanted this pattern ever since it came out, just didn't know if I had it in me to make it, but every time I see it on some ones blog it makes me think I can. Beautiful quilt, always loved the truck and the snowmen in he cups, they make me smile.
I think I would use blues. I do like the reds too. Tough decisions.
I like the blues
Love the red/taupes of French General like yours, but wow, the green on Bunny Hill's blog looks great too ! Really enjoy how you always add a little something to personalize your quilts.
I think one in blues and gray would be nice. Or pink!
I love Bunny Hill patterns. I think aqua, gray, red and beige would be a wonderful combination. I sure liked the one on Bunny Hill's blog. Thank you for the chance to win this.
You do an amazing job of finishing your projects! I really hope I win...and I would use the same color scheme as you! Thank you for the opportunity to win this pattern!
I just finished a jewel tone Christmas quilt. I think that would be a pretty possibility. I love the red and cream though.
Thanks for sharing your patterns.
Michelle
I love it! I am very traditional when ir comes to Christmas! I love the deep reds! (I believe I have said it many times red is my favorite!) I would love to give it a try!
I guess I would use white and blue with gold maybe. Snow and winter colors.
I would make mine in blues and grays and maybe use some wool for the snowpeople. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!
Love your quilt! You do great applique work. I like to decorate with snowmen at Christmas time and this would be just the thing to round out my collection; must add to my list!
Your quilt came out beautiful! Very, very nice!I'm not the best at choosing colors. I really like your reds and tans. I think I would stick with red, add some green and tans. I have used some blue Christmas fabrics before, but I don't think there was a lot in that line to coordinate. But, I love the pattern and would love to make it. Thanks
I have been wanting this pattern since I first saw it not sure why I held off. I think I would do it up in Aqua and gray!
Very pretty quilt. I would love to win your pattern. I have the new Minnick & Simpsons red and cream fq bundle that would be perfect. Thanks for the chance. Barb
Try this again, last commment came up and unknown.
Love the pattern. I have the latest Minnick and Simpson red and cream fq bundle, which would be perfect for the pattern. Thanks for chance to win. Barb

Love it! And the green one is nice too, although I'm not a big fan of green. I'm thinking I might do it in reds, blacks, and grays. Not sure I'm that great at choosing fabric though!
I love this pattern....especially the truck block! I think I would make it in blues.
French General in red . I love the pattern
I love this quilt. I would do it in red and cream. Thanks for the give away. debbiequilter
I want to make one just like yours!! Beautiful!
Lynda K.
Yours turned out so pretty! I think I would make it in blues and creams, or maybe blacks and creams. So many options!
Sandy A
Since Red is my favorite color, I would use reds and creams/white. Yours looks great!

I love your quilt top! So cute. I would make this quilt in blues and white. Thanks for the giveaway!
I'd love to win your used pattern. I've looked at it several times at Bunny Hill but haven't ordered it yet. I love everything Christmas, probably because that's my birthday.
If I won the pattern I'd make it in red since that's my favorite color for Christmas decorating.
I already have a kit for a red and white Christmas project, so I'd make this blue and white. And I'd leave it up through January.
