Oh Those Waskelly Wabbits!

Time for an update? I've finished two more blocks. First is the surfer bunny in his (her?) VW van--or some kind of van. It's really harder than you'd think to try to make an appliqued block of this size look like a specific model.

To put the block in perspective, the van is in that line of bunny traffic. I think I need to make a crossing guard to go with this section.

Then there's a bunny towing two carts--pretty close to the original pattern drawing, but I've traded out the original eggs in the carts and put in chicks.

This block is more amusing when you see it with the rest of the section. I think I might give one or both chicks wings, but I want to think about how I'd want that to look for a bit.

Here's the quilt center so far:

Besides the crossing guard block, I have two more blocks in mind, although I'm not sure where I'll find the room--I may have to decide between the two. I also want to add in more flowers, the spacer/filler backgrounds, and finish the bunny/egg train. I'll keep showing you what I'm doing as I go along--when there's anything worth showing.

  11. I have the same question as Amy - are these needle turned or fused? If fused, which brand do you use or recommend? Have you used Misty Fuse? Anyway, you are the best and I thank you for brightening my mornings!!
