I finished this piece of Halloween embroidery, but I can't decide what to do to it next.
I have a couple options. I can make it into a pillow. Or I could make it a small wallhanging. And if I made it into a wallhanging, I could make it so it could either hang on the wall or, with a sleeve added to the back, it could hang in this metal frame:
Or there may be other ideas I haven't even thought of. (Making it into a toaster cover sounds like a good idea except I don't have a toaster!)
What do you think would be the cutest project?
Beautiful stitching, it would make a lovely pillow or small quilt hanging from that lovely frame.
ReplyDeleteWow, you're very speedy with the stitching. It's very cute. I personally am not a pillow person (too many cats)so I would probably search for a wood frame, paint it black and either hang it or lean it. Hey, maybe I'll do that. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteI like the cushion idea.
ReplyDeleteI have a frame like yours that I have an embroidered and/or pieced project in. I change it out for the season, except I don't quite have enough yet. Sooo, that is what I'd do with it!
ReplyDeleteSo buy a toaster! hehehehehehe
ReplyDeleteYour stitchery turned out very cute. I like the wall hanging idea. I usually put the sleeves in even if I don't plan to use it that way, just so I can change my mind. It would also look cute as a small table topper. You could add a few extra borders if you need to make it bigger.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be great in that metal hanging frame!
ReplyDeletehow can you not have a toaster?!? what do you do with your stale bread?!?
ReplyDeletedianne has a toaster ... dianne would LOVE to have a toaster cover ... dianne LOVES halloween ... dianne is too lazy to stitch her own little witch ... i'm just sayin'
I love it. I would either frame it or hang it on the metal frame. I would add a border around it.
ReplyDeleteLet me see ...
ReplyDeleteI would ask your DH to create something out of white sprinkler tubing and finish it off with some of his terra cotta pot people - just sayin ... Hugs
I'd probably make it a quilt center and build a small quilt around it.
ReplyDeleteOr a pillow :-)
After careful consideration, I vote for the wall hanging.
ReplyDeleteI'd make it a wallhanging with a sleeve.
