Is There a Warranty For That?

Saturday morning I woke up and quickly realized something was wrong with my shoulder. I hope I just slept on it "wrong," because I don't think I've done anything lately that could have injured it--except typing maybe, but I don't think that would have suddenly caused it, do you?

So, once again, I can't finish the binding and quilting on my applique quilt--at least, I don't think I can, but I'll give the binding a try and see.

Despite shoulder issues today, I managed to power through the pain and weakness and had a wonderful, wonderful time with my stitchery/quilting pals on our little shop hop. After all, there ARE some things that are more important than pain, right? And guess what? I found happy stuff everywhere we went! But I'll have to tell you more about it later, because this shoulder thing is making it a little hard to type.

And doesn't it just figure that just as soon as my vacation STARTS, my body STOPS? It's just not right!

  1. Hi Kim -- I'd say it's the big, heavy quilt you've been working on plus, without your AC, you KNOW you didn't sleep right. But you will be renewed tomorrow -- have a wonderful vacation!! Florence

  3. Sounds like your shoulder is screaming for your vacation to start a little early. Hoping it's better and your beach time is wonderful.

  4. Kim, It is probably from all the quilting you do at your DSM. This happened to me a few years ago. Totally miserable experience. Ibuprofen or Naprosyn helpful. Whatever you do, keep moving the shoulder so it doesn't "freeze up" on you. Ask me how I know!

  5. Hope the shoulder feels better as the day goes on. This is probably a sign that you should work on a new smaller project and we all know how fun a new project it - take care!
