National Quilting Day. How did you spend it?
I spend a chunk of the day in the Sweat Shop, playing with the new Flag Day Farm fabric by Minick and Simpson. (Borders still need to be pieced and added--probably later in the week.)
Happy quilting!

It's looking good. Are you going to use Flag Day Farm for the border also?
That looks really good so far, Kim. Your piecing is very accurate. Yesterday, I celebrated by working on 3 different projects: I quilted some more on a signature quilt for our DDIl, I pieced some more blocks for a wedding quilt for our other son's fiancee (FUTURE DDIL, LOL) and I hand appliqued some more on a project for myself while watching Return of the Jedi! Perfect day!
Pretty quilt Kim! I had a great day working on various quilting projects. Glad you did too.
This block is beautiful. I have a bundle of Flag Day Farm but haven't yet decided what it will become.
On National Quilting Day I finished a quilt top of Schnibbles pattern Plan C.
Beautiful! Love that fabric! Happy quilting to you, too.
Great block Kim! All those parallelograms scare me!
I spent the day yesterday at a local guild quilt show. Awesome quilts, lots of inspiration. Then I came home and worked a little on an applique project and uploading the pics fromt he show. Great way to spend the day.
Ohh pretty!! Love those stars! I spent mine in the sewing room making blocks and assembling a top from older bom blocks!
That is great fabric and the quilt is very nice! I was a little under the weather but, I did manage to get pieces for my Summer Camp sample up on the design wall. I hope to complete the top today. Our guild is having a quilting day next Satuday to honor NQD at the college here. Should be fun.
I had a great time celebrating National Quilting Day. I bought a charm pack of the Flag Day Farm.
Your block is beautiful.
love this block
