Sometimes the most appealing idea for after dinner "entertainment" midweek is taking a warm bath and putting on my jammies early before heading off to bed with a cup of hot chocolate (or iced tea in the summer) and a good book.
This is what's on my nightstand tonight (click link at "this" to see the book at Amazon):
What's on yours?
I've read the first two Marie Bostwick book - I'm looking forward to reading the other two. I'm currently reading The Good Sister!
ReplyDeleteI just bought the second Marie Bostwick book of this series at the WI quilt show last Friday. Hopefully will read it this winter. Also I bought a Nook last night and purchased "The Help" as my first book to read on it.
ReplyDeleteThe Land of Painted Caves ... STILL ... ugh ... i guess i just don't care enough about Ayla the Zelandoni to stay awake to read - i liked her much better when she was with the Clan
ReplyDeleteReading a free selection from Jonas Saul! Thought it was a John Saul and did not look close enough! She is far from him, but it is a short book! Just got done with the Mocking Jay books and they were a quick read and a good flick!
ReplyDeleteI love Marie Bostwick's books, too, and I got to meet her last week at the Quilt Expo in Madison, where she was autographing her books. The next book in this series comes out in April. I can't wait!
